What happened

The Saudi-led coalition said Houthi ballistic missiles and drones struck civilian areas of Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif during a renewed southern Saudi attack wave, injuring 13 civilians and damaging seven homes and two vehicles. Reuters also reported emergency alerts in southern cities. The coalition did not assign the injuries or property damage to individual cities or identify precise impact locations. The Houthis separately claimed direct hits and major losses at King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait; the coalition's civilian-damage account does not verify impacts inside the base. This grouped record describes the wider civilian attack wave and is not a second count of the claimed airbase strike. The marker is a regional reference, not a verified impact coordinate.
