What happened
Donetsk regional police said Russian forces dropped four FAB-250 bombs fitted with UMPK glide-and-correction kits on the Kramatorsk community between 05:34 and 05:52 on 7 September. Two bombs hit multi-storey apartment buildings in central Kramatorsk, another struck a bridge structure in nearby Yasnohirka, and one munition was found unexploded near an apartment building. Two men aged 45 and 66 were killed and four residents were injured. Police reported preliminary damage to three apartment buildings and eight vehicles. The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office opened a war-crimes investigation. These details are supported by Ukrainian official reporting; no Russian military statement reviewed for this record addressed the individual target or casualty account. The marker is placed at central Kramatorsk and does not represent the precise bridge or unexploded-ordnance location. The simultaneous residential strike in Perm is a separate incident and is not merged into this record.
When cited sources give different casualty, damage or spill figures for this event, they’re reported side by side above rather than merged into one number. See how confidence levels work.
