What happened

Kuwait International Airport was struck by several drones on 12 March 2026, causing material damage only with no casualties, according to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation spokesperson Abdullah al-Rajhi, cited by state news agency KUNA. Al-Rajhi said the incident was handled per the emergency plan in place since the start of the crisis. The reviewed reporting did not name an attacker, though it placed the strike within Iran's broader response to the US-Israeli operation launched 28 February. This is a separate, later incident from the 28 February 2026 Terminal 1 strike on the same airport recorded elsewhere on this site.
