What happened
Russian drones and missiles struck Kyiv overnight on 16–17 September, damaging a petrol station, warehouses, residential and educational buildings, offices, vehicles and railway infrastructure at more than ten locations. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko's updated count was 18 injured in the city, including a 10-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy. Associated Press reported at least 19 injured across Kyiv and the surrounding region. Ukrzaliznytsia said damage at Mykilska Slobidka station temporarily shortened the Kyiv City Express route while repairs proceeded.
