What happened

Russian drones and missiles struck Kyiv in at least four waves on 15 September, hitting a Ukrnafta filling station in the Holosiivskyi district around 8:39 a.m. and another in the Darnytskyi district around 6 a.m., according to the Kyiv City Military Administration and Mayor Vitali Klitschko. A non-residential building was hit in the Solomianskyi district and warehouses were struck in the Obolonskyi district; a commercial data centre used in part by the National Paralympic Committee was also damaged. A fourth air-raid alert was recorded around 3 p.m. Klitschko said the recurring damage reflected a shortage of air-defense interceptors effective against drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles.
