What happened

Iranian state-linked reporting said Iran's military launched drones toward Al Dhafra and Al Minhad air bases on 2 September. On 3 September, Iran's army made a further, more specific claim that its missiles and drones struck troop positions and radar systems at Al Minhad during the 31st phase of an operation it calls Saeqeh ('Lightning'). Neither the UAE nor the United States confirmed that later claim, and no independently verified imagery established an impact, casualty, damage or operational interruption. The UAE's denial of a separate 31 August Al Minhad attack does not resolve the later 2–3 September claims. This record therefore documents successive attributed claims, not a verified successful strike. The marker is an approximate base reference rather than a confirmed impact point.
