What happened
Ukrainian defence company Fire Point said Flamingo cruise missiles struck the Volgogradpromproekt chemical plant south of Volgograd. Volgograd Governor Andrey Bocharov separately said missile debris fell on an unnamed industrial facility in southern Volgograd, without confirming the Ukrainian target identification. Public reporting did not establish which buildings or production lines were affected, whether operations stopped, or whether casualties or hazardous releases occurred. The weapon identification and direct hit therefore remain Ukrainian claims. The marker is approximate and identifies the reported facility area rather than a verified impact coordinate.
When cited sources give different casualty, damage or spill figures for this event, they’re reported side by side above rather than merged into one number. See how confidence levels work.
