What happened

1news.az, citing Sudan Tribune and local sources, reports that RSF drones struck the Haiya electrical substation, which is in the final stage of construction and intended to improve Port Sudan’s supply, and an oil pumping station in Haiya on the pipeline carrying South Sudanese crude to Bashayer on the Red Sea. A fire broke out and the facilities were damaged. This is the second reported attack on Haiya energy infrastructure in three days and is distinct from the 28 October fuel-storage and pipeline record. Pipeline throughput loss, export interruption and casualties are not established. The marker is a town reference.
