What happened
TASS quotes Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak saying there was “another attack on Russian refineries today — on four processing plants. To be precise, three refineries and one gas-chemical complex.” He said one plant suffered minor damage and air defences otherwise worked. Novak did not name the facilities or say whether Novokuibyshevsk, recorded separately, was among them. In Samara region, local authorities said at least two people died responding to fires at industrial sites without naming the sites; those deaths are not attributed here to a specific refinery. Russia’s Defence Ministry claimed 1,043 drones intercepted overnight. The marker is a broad national reference for unnamed facilities, not an impact location.
